We'll set off by bus and head straight for the old center of the city, among the elegant buildings that narrate decades of history. We'll introduce you to Alcazaba, an Arab fortress which has looked out over the city since the 11th century – essentially, it's the Andalusian version of a fairytale castle, but with a touch of the exotic.
Then we'll head uphill again, to the Castle of Gibralfaro, with spectacular views over Málaga: on one side is the infinite Mediterranean, while the city sparkles in the sun on the other. Got your phone handy? Because this is a moment worth capturing!
After a little free time to explore the lively Andalusian "calles" (or for a quick shopping trip, if you want to feel like a real local), it's time to finish the day in style. • We will cross Malaga, rich in history and artistic beauty, by coach. We will drive past important monuments including the Alcazaba, a fortress from the Muslim era that dominates the city. We will then head on in the direction of the Gibralfaro castle, constructed in the 14th century by Yusuf I, Emir of Granada, on the remains of a lighthouse. From here we can admire the beautiful view over the city.

• From the port of Malaga, we will take the coach to the Gibralfaro, the ancient fortress situated on top of the hill that dominates the city. Built in the 14th century by Yusuf I, Caliph of Granada, on the site of a Phoenician lighthouse, it was the most impregnable fortress on the Iberian peninsula for a long time. From here we can enjoy a breathtaking view of Malaga, its bays and the surrounding areas.
• Then we will head to the centre of Malaga where we will enjoy a pleasant stroll to a typical Andalusian tavern. Here we will sample a glass of fine wine from the region whilst watching a fascinating flamenco show, which will leave us with an unforgettable memory of this city thanks to the sensuality of the dance, the intensity of the song and its unmistakeable rhythm.

• We head for Marbella, pearl of the Costa del Sol, where we will discover an historic centre that conceals corners of indescribable beauty with typical Andalusian flavour: whitewashed houses with balconies adorned with flowers, narrow, winding streets, and countless restaurants, bars and shops.
• The coach will then take us to Puerto Banus, a renowned tourist resort close to Marbella, where we will have chance to wander through the beautiful tourist port , home to luxury yachts, boutiques and elegant restaurants.

• Our walking tour starts with a visit to the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest contemporary artists. It is an emotional experience to retrace the first years of this extraordinary artist's life together with our guide. Picasso followed in the footsteps of his father, an art teacher and curator of the local Museum, and it was with him that he began to explore the various painting techniques.
• After visiting the house in which he was born, we can admire more than 200 of his works at the museum dedicated to him, inaugurated by the King and Queen of Spain in 2003. A real artistic and cultural treasure trove, home to paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and engravings that represent the various stages of Picasso's work.
• We cannot end our tour without trying Malaga's delicacies at a traditional taverna, where we can taste delicious snacks, accompanied by a flavourful local wine. Before we return to the port, we'll have a little time to wander through the lanes of the historic centre.

• The first stop on our trip takes us to Malaga, a city founded more than two thousand years ago and now one of the oldest ports in the Mediterranean, and the cathedral, one of the most important Renaissance monuments in Andalusia. Dating back to the 16th century, the cathedral was constructed on the site of a former mosque.
• We will then move on to the historic centre of Malaga, where we can admire the beauty of the typical calles.
• Our trip will then take us on to Alcazaba, a fortress from the Muslim era that testifies the Moorish resistance to the Christian kings. From its ancient peripheral walls we can enjoy an evocative view of the city and its surroundings, including the bay.
• Another beauty spot from which we can enjoy a breath taking view is Gibralfaro, an ancient fortress situated on top of the hill that dominates the city. Constructed in the 14th century by Yusuf 1, Caliph of Granada, in the spot on which the Phoenicians had built a lighthouse, it was, for a long time, the most impregnable fortress on the Iberian peninsula. Here we take a final look at Malaga, its bay and the beautiful surroundings, before beginning our return journey to the ship.

Explore silent alleyways, to the majestic Great Mosque of Cordoba (which is now a Christian cathedral). A UNESCO World Heritage site where Arab arches and Christian naves coexist in timeless harmony. Next, lose yourself in the Jewish quarter, amidst white houses, cobbled streets and memories carved out of stone. The synagogue will tell tales of resilience and deep roots, a silent witness to a faith that has defied the centuries. Cordoba is not somewhere you simply visit. You live and breathe it.

• We leave the city of Málaga and after a journey of about two hours we will arrive in Cordoba. 
• Accompanied by a local guide, we venture on a walk to discover the picturesque streets of the city centre.
• Our first stop is the Great Mosque of Córdoba, now a Christian cathedral and one of the main expressions of Arabic-Islamic art and of Andalusian Renaissance architecture declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• We continue towards the Jewish quarter, one of the most evocative in the city with its cobbled alleyways, typical Andalusian white houses, historical buildings and religious monuments.
• We visit the synagogue, the only one in Andalusia to survive the 15th-century expulsion of the Jews. Built in 1350, it no longer serves as a place of worship but remains an important historical monument and symbol of the modern Spanish Jewish community.
• Free time for lunch.

• On Mondays the Synagogue is closed, therefore you will only visit the outside.

From Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella to La Línea de la Concepción, you'll cross borders and explore legends, as well as diving straight into the soul of Gibraltar! After a scenic tour, dive into the mystery of the caves of St. **Michael: a maze of stalactites and stalagmites, a refuge for ancient inhabitants and the guardian of stories that date back thousands of years. Then, let yourself be enchanted by Catalan Bay and the unusual charm of Main Street, where the spirit of England can be felt with every step you take. And don't forget: here, the true queens are the Barbary macaques**, the living sentinels of an eternal legend.

• From Malaga we will head for the tourist resorts of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella, before reaching the Cadiz province, where we will visit the Línea de la Concepción, the city that borders Gibraltar.
• Once across the border, we will leave the coach and board a minibus, the ideal way to admire the enchanting views, as described by the audio guide.
• We initially head north, before crossing the border between Spain and England behind Gibraltar airport.
• We continue on to Catalan Bay, or La Caleta, a traditional fishing village that apparently owes its name to the landing of the troops who arrived from Catalonia during the War of the Spanish Succession in the 18th century.
• We are enchanted by Gibraltar that extends all the way to the famous rock, a calcareous stone with reefs that jut out of the sea. Here we find Europa Point, the most southern tip of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. If it is a clear day, we can see the African coast and take some beautiful photos.
• We will have chance to visit St. Michael's Caves, natural caves used as a refuge by Neolithic inhabitants of the Rock, where we will admire the captivating scene created by the many stalagmites and stalactites. Before concluding our tour of Gibraltar, we will get to know the real stars of this land, the Barbary monkeys, the only examples still to be found in the wild today. Legend has it that Gibraltar will remain English for as long as the monkeys remain on this land.
• Before returning to the car park and starting our return trip to Malaga port, we'll have chance to soak up the typical English atmosphere along Main Street, with its many shops and cafés.

• We leave Malaga behind us and head towards the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes gorge where, at the beginning of the 20th century, the local hydroelectric company harnessed the two waterfalls to produce electricity.
• To facilitate communication and transport, a 5 km walkway only 1 metre wide and rising as high as 100 metres above the river below, pinned on practically vertical walls, was built. And it’s precisely on this narrow structure, restored in 2015, that we will test our courage!
• Surrounded by rugged nature, we retrace the steps of the workers who first built Caminito del Rey and worked on these steep heights and discover interesting facts about the local flora and fauna as well as curious anecdotes concerning the pioneers.

Get to know the real Marbella on this excursion, from its charming Old Town to its stylish seafront. Start with a 75-minute drive from the port, including a short scenic tour around the city (if time permits). After arriving in Marbella, enjoy a first 40-minute walk taking you to Plaza de los Naranjos - encircled by orange trees ¿ where you will learn a little of its history and take some photographs.<-p>

The city s historic centre is a world away from its glitzy marina and its hotel-lined beach. Instead, streets in the Old Town are lined with lemon-coloured houses and fountain-filled plazas that invite leisurely stops. Continue for additional 30 minutes for external views of other key landmarks, including the classic Andalusian-style Iglesia de la Encarnación (dating back to the 16th century) and the Arab walls of the 11th-century Alcazaba.<-p>

Next, enjoy a leisurely 20-minute walk to Marbella¿s Avenida del Mar - a marble-paved promenade featuring ten striking bronze sculptures by Salvador Dalí. This open-air gallery leads gracefully to the city¿s scenic Paseo Marítimo. Here, you¿ll have one hour of free time to relax in the area around Venus Beach, a Blue Flag-awarded stretch of sand much loved by both locals and visitors. Bask in the sun and soak up the tranquil atmosphere, or take a gentle stroll to the nearby marina, where charming seafront bars offer local delicacies on picturesque terraces overlooking the sparkling sea. The excursion concludes with a 75-minute drive along the coast back to the port at Málaga.<-p>
