SOUTHERN IBIZA S DAZZLING PANORAMAS
Excursion details<-strong><-p> The entire southern shoreline of Ibiza is a vision of tucked-away coves, whitewashed villages and pine-dotted hillsides, with knockout coastal views at every turn. Witness it up-close on this excursion.<-p> Following a 30-minute bus transfer from the port, a first stop takes place at the rugged Sa Caleta, where rust-coloured cliffs frame three small, undeveloped beaches. A 30-minute stop allows time to take pictures and see the ruins of Ibiza s original settlement, established here by the Phoenicians in the eighth century BC.<-p> A 25-minute transfer will take you to tiny Es Cubells village, with a fortified church standing above sheer cliffs plunging down to secluded coves far below. Soak up the panorama across the Mediterranean to neighbouring Formentera with a stop of 25 minutes.<-p> From here, it s a 35-minute drive onwards to Cala Conta, a string of white-sand coves also known as Platges de Comte. Thanks to wandering views across to Sant Antoni, this is a popular spot, especially for catching the fiery Ibizan sunset. After a 45-minute stop here, a 50-minute transfer journey returns to the ship.<-p> Important Information:<-strong>The surface at "Cala Conta" is unpaved, rocky, and inclined and is unsuitable for guests using a wheelchair. The stop at Cala Conta may offer the opportunity for a swim, weather and sea conditions permitting, and subject to the amount of free time available at the beach. Guests intending to swim are kindly advised to wear their swimwear under their clothes and to bring a beach towel and sun cream. The beach does not offer any facilities or services. Please note that no beach facilities or services are included in the excursion. Sunbeds and parasols may be available for hire locally, subject to availability. However, guests are advised to consider whether renting them is worthwhile given the duration of the free time available, which will be confirmed on the spot by your guide.<-p>

A CATAMARAN ADVENTURE AND BARBECUE LUNCH
Excursion details<-strong><-p> Get to know the Balearics unique coastal landscapes while sailing between Ibiza and its mellow neighbour, Formentera. This unguided excursion is a chance for relaxation and savouring various incredible panoramas, as well as enjoying a dip in front of one of Spain s most beautiful beaches.<-p> The excursion commences with a 15-minute walk from the pier in Ibiza to a modern catamaran, where the captain will introduce the day s route and highlights. Then, set sail for Formentera on a trip lasting four-and-a-half-hours in total (including time docked off Formentera), first passing by Platja d en Bossa, a hugely popular beach with an ancient watchtower and famous for an electric atmosphere.<-p> On arrival at Platja Illetes, on Formentera s Trucador Peninsula, take advantage of the gleaming waters by enjoying a refreshing ocean dip as the catamaran stops off the coast. - The tour begins with a scenic drive to Puerto de Sant Miquel, a picturesque fishing village.
- We move on to the Can Marca caves where Mother Nature has created a wonderful underground world: small lakes and streams create a magical atmosphere with sound and light effects. The cave was discovered in 1970 by the Belgian speleologist, Pierre Van Abeelle and, although it was formed more than 100,000 years ago, infiltration still gives rise to amazing stalactites and stalagmites.

Once we arrive at Espalmador, the time is yours to enjoy: dive into the crystal clear waters, explore the sea floor with a spot of snorkeling, or put yourself to the test with a little paddle surf. If you prefer something a little more relaxing, take a walk on the fine sand or take advantage of the rubber boat to head to the shore in comfort. The first stop is one of the most mysterious and legendary wonders of Ibiza: Es Vedrà! This spectacular rock is not only an icon of the island: it's also wrapped up in all sorts of crazy stories and legends that will give you goosebumps. Get ready for a dip in the crystal-clear waters that surround it, while the views leave you speechless.
We will then head to Playa Comte, one of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza, where the sea is just as perfect as Es Vedrà and the sand welcomes you like a soft blanket. It's the perfect moment to relax in the sun, take a dip, or simply discover the real meaning of "paradise".

Excursion details<-strong><-p> Dive into some of Ibiza s most thrilling sights on this excursion, which begins with a first 90-minute segment including a guided walk from the port into Ibiza Town s historical heart. Founded by the Phoenicians, Dalt Vila - the capital s fortified old town - is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy strolling through the sloping, pedestrianised streets, with sprawling views across the harbour until reaching the baluard of Santa Lucia, the largest bastion in the old town.<-p> A 25-minute ride then leads to the luminous Ses Salines (salt flats) rolling across Ibiza s south-east corner- another Phoenician relic, they are still in use today and form part of a bird-rich nature reserve. After a photo-stop at the salt flats, the next 35 minutes include a drive to the rugged west coast of the island.<-p> The final stop on the itinerary is Sant Antoni, the birthplace of Ibiza¿s iconic chillout music scene, which emerged during the 1980s. Here, you¿ll have around 30 minutes of free time to explore at your leisure before heading back to the pier on a 30-minute drive.<-p> Important Information:<-strong>this excursion is available for MSC Yacht Club Guests only. SMALL GROUP: THE PHOTOGENIC STARS OF IBIZA S SCENIC SOUTH
Excursion details<-strong><-p> Discover why the south of Ibiza packs a visual punch on this excursion to seek out the area s headline acts, starting with a 30-minute transfer from the port at Ibiza. First on the itinerary is Ses Salines, a collection of still-working salt pans born centuries ago when Ibiza was under Phoenician rule- this part of the island is a nature reserve, and flamingos are often spotted wading through the water. Following a 15-minute scenic drive through Ses Salines, a 15-minute transfer leads to rugged Sa Caleta, where rust-coloured cliffs frame three small, undeveloped beaches. A 25-minute stop allows time to explore the ruins of Ibiza s original settlement, established here by the Phoenicians in the eighth century BC.<-p> Enjoy a 30-minute drive will take you to tiny Es Cubells village with a fortified church standing above sheer cliffs plunging down to secluded coves far below. Soak up the panorama across the Mediterranean to neighbouring Formentera with a stop of 25 minutes.<-p> Following 30 minutes travel, hop off at the Cala Compte coves on Ibiza s west coast, where people gather each evening to catch the sunset over the Sant Antoni Bay.
