Onar Beach, located in the beautiful setting of Loutraki, just a few kilometers from Chania, is perfect for a restorative break.
Here, you can relax on a comfortable sun lounger in the shade of an umbrella, plunge into the turquoise waters, or sip something cool at the beach bar, surrounded by views that incorporate sea and mountains in a single sweep.
Whether you want to read a book, swim, explore the charming rocky landscape or simply do nothing (and do it right), this is the place for you.

BY BOAT TO THE ISLAND OF “KRI-KRI"

The programme
Your sailing boat will set off from Chania for a truly exclusive mini-cruise. You'll sail along the gulf until you reach Agioi Theodoroi, a small island protected by the “Natura 2000” body; among a host of wonders, this place is home to the elusive Kri-Kri, the wild goat that symbolizes Crete's wildest side.
During your stop, you can swim in the clear waters, soak up the sun, take photos to use as your background for the next six months or simply allow yourself to be lulled by the waves. And to make the experience even more enjoyable, a little traditional snack will be served on board: Cretan dakos with fresh tomatoes, seasonal fruit, wine, soft drinks, and fresh water.

- At Souda Bay, you'll find calm waters, empty beaches and centuries of history and architecture.
- It will all become clear as you paddle in a kayak from Chania to the port of Marathi with your guide, as the different architectural styles of its buildings slip by before your eyes.
- Also known as “The Venice of the East”, Chania is a city that will take you back to another time. Between the Venetian-style palaces and fortifications of Byzantine origin, get ready to soak up the unique views from the sea.
- The port of Marathi, with its calm waters, is the perfect place to discover the coastline of the island from a special perspective, basking in its Mediterranean atmosphere, before stopping for some relaxation on the beach for a swim in total freedom.

A VOYAGE THROUGH THE SENSES IN A 4X4
Fancy immersing all your senses in the nature of Souda Bay? Jump onto a 4x4 for an exciting off-road tour, before taking in the panoramic views from Vatolakos hill. Then, discover its gastronomic treasures as you sip on wines produced by the historic Manousakis winery, with a tasting accompanied by a selection of typical cheeses.

- Souda Bay is where the island's nature takes center stage, amid its vineyards, olive trees and citrus groves.
- Along the off-road route that takes you to the most scenic spot on the Vatolakos hill in a 4x4, you'll immediately realize that the landscape has its own unique character.
- At a height of 600m, it's the perfect place to photograph the views of the sea from a privileged position, amidst the colors and scents typical of Mediterranean landscapes like this one.
- Then, discover the importance of these places in the production of local wines at the historic Manousakis family winery. Whilst you observe the entire wine production cycle in person, from vine to bottle, keep your eyes peeled and admire the rooms of this ancient residence and its gardens.
- Then end on a high note, as you add flavor to your winery experience with a wine tasting accompanied by a selection of local cheeses and dakos, the typical Cretan wheat biscuits.

The programme
- From Souda Bay, your guide will accompany you on a journey which will lead you to the monastery of Arkadi.
- This historic Orthodox place of worship looks like a fortress, with impressive walls and architecture, just like the events that it has borne witness to. It was here that Cretan resistance fighters battling for independence from centuries-long Ottoman rule barricaded themselves in 1866.
- A chapter in the history of the island that was even narrated by Victor Hugo. Your guide will also tell you all about it as you walk around this place where religion and patriotism come together and lose yourself among the details of its Venetian Baroque style.
- Now set off to discover Rethymno, with its Renaissance architecture and Venetian buildings, including the imposing 16th century fortress which was later converted into a mosque by the Ottomans, as well as a host of other treasures that have made this city so fascinating and popular.
- Here, you'll also have some free time to continue your exploration or to go on a hunt for a souvenir to take home with you.

The programme
- Vineyards and olive groves welcome you to the Akrotiri peninsula. At the end of a road flanked on either side by cypress trees, you'll arrive at the Agia Triada monastery, a famous example of the Cretan Renaissance, built in the last period of Venetian rule.
- Follow your guide as you explore this ancient, silent world and step inside the Holy Trinity church.
- After so much contemplation, stop off at the monastery's shop and take home wines and olive oil produced right here.
- Then, it's time to head to Chania old town. But first, observe it from a stunning viewpoint for a picture-perfect photo, with views across the entire bay of Souda.
- And now…set off to explore the alleyways and artisan boutiques and discover some Cretan traditions. You can choose whether you want to hunt for some souvenirs or sit in one of the cafés that overlooks the old Venetian port, for the best views of the buildings that bear witness to the island's history.

DIVE INTO PARADISE IN FALASARNA
Get ready to dive into an earthly paradise, where the sand is so white that it will make you think you're on another planet, and as for the sea...it's as turquoise as every tourist's dream. But it isn't a dream...it's Falasarna.

The programme
We'll set off from the port, and on board a comfortable bus, we'll head towards our destination: Falasarna. Between one bend and the next, the picturesque countryside and villages will make you want to stop every two minutes to take photos. Because, let's admit it, this beauty is just crying out to be captured! And finally, when you get to the beach, you'll find yourself gazing out at a turquoise sea that almost seems fake. But trust us, it's real!
Once you arrive, the time is all yours. Go and take a dip, relax on the sand, or if you want to shake up your day, try out one of the aquatic activities on offer. Windsurfing or paddleboarding await, ready for those who want to seem more adventurous than they really are, but don't worry, we're not judging you. If you prefer, explore the hidden coves and let yourself be surprised. On the other hand, if you'd rather do nothing at all, lie back and let the sun do its work. After all, you deserve it!
After plenty of relaxation, swims and photos, it's time to head back. We bet you can't wait to tell everyone who didn't come all about it!

The programme
We set off from the port of Souda and head along a charming road that evokes the most authentic soul of Crete. Gentle hills, traditional villages and glimpses of the Aegean Sea accompany us on a transfer that is already part of the experience.
Our destination? Elafonissi, a beach that is a true corner of paradise, although it doesn't come for free - you'll have to work hard to earn it. Get ready for a challenging walk, but one that will be well worth the effort. Because if you think beauty comes without sacrifice, you'll have to think again.
You will find yourself in front of a unique beach, protected by a nature reserve of pure, unspoilt charm: delicate pink sand, shallow crystal-clear waters, dunes and lagoons...a dreamy landscape, perfect for swimming, relaxing or simply letting yourself be amazed by its beauty.
Good to know- To reach this secluded spot from the bus parking lot, guests must complete a steep hike of about 30 minutes.

FROM LACE TO ALLEYWAYS: UNEXPECTED CRETE

From the ancient ruins of the city-state of Aptera to the delicacy of handmade lace, via the picturesque alleyways of one of the island's most charming towns: this is experience is the perfect blend of culture, tradition and picture-postcard views.

The programme
We'll set off from the port of Souda, heading to the ruins of ancient Aptera, one of those places where you look around and feel as though you can hear the sound of Greek settlers' sandals as they walk by. Ancient, powerful, mythological: perfect for those who like to delve into the past...with their eyes. A brief photo stop will allow you to admire the ruins, and get to know the Greek myths associated with this site.
Then, it's time to change the pace: Gavalohori is a deep dive into Crete at its most authentic. A tiny village where time seems to stand still, and where a group of women proudly continue the tradition of making “Kopaneli,” a Byzantine lace that requires patience, but is really worth the wait, even just for a look.
Last stop, but we end on a high, in Chania's old town. An architectural gem brimming with colors, irresistible views, and boutiques where getting lost is practically compulsory. First, enjoy a guided walk, and then some free time to do two simple things: whatever you want, with stunning views.
