The programme
  • It was in 1953 that the roof collapsed, revealing the underground lake and enabling the sun to illuminate it for the first time. The beauty of Melissani Lake, also known as the ”cave of the nymphs”, lies in this play of colors between the light and the sea. You'll reach it by boat amid stalactites, stalagmites, salt water from the sea, and fresh water from the natural spring located 20 meters below ground.
  • It's time to make your friends jealous on social media by taking photograph from above to the blue sea and the beach of Myrtos. The small white stones of the beach reflect the sun and make it even brighter when you see it from above.

The programme
  • Aboard our coach we head for Makris Gialos, one of the most beautiful beaches on the entire island. The view is marvellous: a bay of white sand and pebbles lapped by crystal clear waters, framed by cliffs covered in lush vegetation. We can relax in the sun or explore the underwater world, which boast a rich marine fauna.
  • Once we get off the coach, we will have to walk approximately 150 metres to reach the beach.

  • This cruise offers a unique opportunity to see the impressive coastal landscapes, sheltered coves and unique beaches as you sail in the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea.
  • You will sail towards the remote Vardiani. Here you can choose what to do: swim or explore the island. On the island there are two ancient churches, San Nicola and Evangelistria, whose ruins can still be visited by everyone today.
  • Back on the boat, you will sail to Xi beach, ranked among the strangest beaches in the world mainly due to its truly unique scenery. It is characterized by its gray rocky hills (20-30 meters high) surrounding the beach and reddish-brown sand. Many people scrub their bodies and faces with clay from the surrounding cliffs as it is said to have cleansing properties. Gray clay, according to ancient and modern scientists, has medicinal properties that can cure skin ailments and heal wounds.
  • This tour, ideal for an adventurous approach, where you can swim or explore. Alternatively, you can simply relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine or even try a quick therapeutic treatment.

The programme
  • The bus will take you to Katavothres, near Fanari, to view a geological phenomenon where the sea water is seemingly swallowed up by the rocks. Take a look at the water mill installed by Englishman Mr. Stevens in 1835 to study this phenomenon. Only in 1963 was it discovered that the water re-emerges 14 days later at the other end of the island.
  • Traveling on by bus you'll come to the Monastery of St Andrew, the old monastery church, built in the mid-16th century on the site of an earlier chapel dedicated to St Andrew, is the only building to have survived the great earthquake of 1953.
  • From the Monastery of St. Andrew you will get a glimpse of the ruins of St. George's Castle, the oldest castle on the island, still surrounded by some of the buildings connected with its history, such as the ruins of churches and walls with crenels and bastions. 
  •  Following the road to Sami village you will enjoying stunning views along the way. 
  • You'll visit the trendiest place on the island, Sami. Stretch your legs on the seafront promenade with its mix of natural attractions and Venetian buildings.
  • We continue on and make a photo stop above Myrtos beach, considered one of the three most beautiful beaches in the world.
  • The tour will end with a stop for a few photos on the De Bosset Bridge in Argostoli. This is the longest stone bridge in the world and crosses the entire Koutavos Lagoon.

  • The trip starts at the kayak base, where the expert ISKGA International Sea
  • Kayaking Guide Association guide will give you a short safety briefing and help you prepare the equipment. As soon as you're ready, you can put your kayak in the water and set off. You'll see caves and arches over the sea, known here as kamaroules. When you get to the white beach of Makris Gialos you'll feel like you're on a tropical island.
  • You'll even be able to go snorkeling. Don't forget the equipment! we'll provide the equipment you need to go kayaking. And as exploring makes you hungry, you'll also find a snack of fresh fruit and beverages.
  • One last paddle and you're on Spasmata Beach, which has a hill of clay that's ideal for a natural mud bath, just like a spa.

  • Up to Mount Ainos to reach the Drogarati Caves and Melissani Lake. Are you ready to discover the mysteries of the underground? The god Pan, a satyr-like deity associated with the woods and nature, was worshipped here. Also here the stalactites and stalagmites create an evocative atmosphere. Do you know how long it takes for stalactites to grow downwards? They are estimated to grow by 2 millimeters every 10 years. Think how many millions of years it has taken to create this spectacle.
  • The Melissani Lake is an underground lake where the rays of sunlight that filter through since a collapse in the roof of the cave create dancing lights on the water. We'll board a small rowing boat to admire this wonder of nature. Ancient relics of Minoan culture have been discovered in the cave.
  • On the way back, a brief stop will give you a chance to photograph the blue sea and the beach at Myrtos from above.

The programme
  • The panoramic bus trip will take you through the mountains, hills and woods of Kefalonia. From the heights you'll see Myrtos beach, made up of millions of smooth white pebbles, and the colors of the sea ranging from electric blue to dark blue.
  • The village of Assos looks like an island: it stands on an isthmus, a tiny strip of land leading to a mini peninsula covered in vegetation. Our guide will show you around the town, an amphitheater of colored houses overlooking the bay, surrounded by pine and cypress woods.
  • Then there is Melissani. Why is this underground lake so special? The cave ceiling collapsed, allowing the sun's rays to penetrate and create dancing lights and colors on the water. You will see them as you glide along the lake in a row boat. Have your smartphone ready because video opportunities like this are few and far between.
  • After all this nature, a bit of history with the Monument to the Fallen of the Acqui Division; this honors the Italian soldiers killed by the German army in Kefalonia in 1943.
