Begin your journey at the pier in downtown Ilhabela, where you will board a schooner bound for Praia do Jabaquara. During the 1-hour sail, pass by the Ilhabela Yacht Club and the beaches of Barreiro, Viana, and Pedra do Sino, renowned for their resonant stones. Cruise past the Ponta das Canas Lighthouse before reaching Praia do Jabaquara, where you¿ll immerse yourself in the Atlantic Forest and relax on the beach for about 2 hours. Return to the pier with a scenic circuit around the ship, ideal for photographs.<-p>

The transport between the schooner and the beach is done by inflatable boat. Due to the preserved ecosystem, ¿borrachudos¿ (small biting insects) may be present. Not recommended for guests allergic to insect bites. The excursions are not recommended for guests with an allergy to insect bites. Guests with mobility issues should remain on the schooner during the beach stop. Guests with food intolerances must notify the excursion office onboard at least two days before the stop. The stop times and free time are approximate and subject to changes. This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain).<-p>

Combine adventure on land and sea with a 4x4 and schooner journey to the stunning Praia do Jabaquara. Enjoy scenic photo stops along the way and spend your free time relaxing on the beach.

Excursion Details<-strong><-p>

Disembark at the pier and join either a schooner or a 4x4 vehicle to Praia do Jabaquara. The schooner route of approximately 1 hour duration, includes a photo tour around the ship, then sails past Ilhabela Yacht Club, Barreiro, Viana, and Pedra do Sino beaches, and the Ponta das Canas Lighthouse, before landing at Jabaquara Beach. Simultaneously, the 4x4 takes a scenic drive, stopping at Barreiro lookout for photos, visiting Pedra do Sino to hear the stones, and travelling a dirt road after Ponta das Canas to reach Jabaquara. Spend about 2 hours enjoying the beach and swimming. Return routes switch: guests travel back the way they didn¿t arrive (schooner or 4x4).<-p>

The destination beach may be changed due to adverse weather conditions. The transport between the schooner and the beach is done by inflatable boat. The 4x4 vehicles are open style, with individual seats and seat belts. Due to the preserved ecosystem, ¿borrachudos¿ (small biting insects) may be present. Not recommended for guests allergic to insect bites. This excursion is not recommended for guests with difficulty in mobility. The group will be divided by the order of arrival at the meeting point. The first group will depart by schooner, and the second group will depart by 4x4. Guests will use the same schooner as in the ILA04 excursion. In case of rain, some models may have removable covers. The 4x4 driver is also the guide and speaks only Portuguese. It is only available in Portuguese. The number of guides in languages other than Portuguese is limited. CURRAL BEACH ADVENTURE TOUR BY 4X4

Embark on this exciting adventure! On board of 4x4 vehicles we will follow in the south of the island seeing the most beautiful landscapes. Our first stop will be at the most famous beach of Ilhabela, the Curral beach, where you will find an excellent infra-structure of bars and restaurants in this beach with its green tone waters are ideal for a swimming, but that is not all! After the beach we will head to the interior of the island for about 30 minutes until we reached the Ilhabela State Park, where is located the Agua Branca Waterfalls, where we can take pictures or dive in for a refreshing swim, where we can appreciate the exuberance of the Atlantic Forest.

The vehicles Jeep used are with individual seats and safety belts are adapted to be off road 4x4 using brands such as Rural, Toyotas, Land Rover, Chevrolet and Jeeps and all are certified by the transit department and INMETRO. Jeeps maybe open version with individual seats and seat belts. In case of rain, some models may use portable covers and the beach destination may be altered due to sea conditions to be decided by the driver-guide during the tour. Embark on a van or micro-bus (with or without air-conditioning), for a transfer of 30 minutes to the famous Curral Beach. On the beach, you will have approximately 2 hours to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the island, with complete infrastructure for food, chairs, tables, umbrellas. Upon returning to the pier, you can explore the historic center for shopping.

In this amazing combination tour, you will visit the most famous beaches and yet see the best that the island has to offer. You will board an air-conditioned van or minibus to visit the Vila and downtown. It includes a photo stop at the Barreiro s viewpoint for a fantastic view of the canal and your ship before heading to Ilhabela main church Nossa Senhora D Ajuda, built in 1806. After the tour you will be able to enjoy approximately one hour and a half for swimming and relaxing in one of the most famous beaches in the island, the Curral Beach.

BIKE TOUR

BIKE TOUR

Enjoy your day with an amazing bike ride alongside the Ilhabela bike way. After disembarking at the ¿Vila¿, you will receive your bike, helmet, map, a locker and all instructions to find your way through the bike way and see some of the most important places in Ilhabela on your own pace. The Nossa Senhora D¿Ajuda Church, the Canoa de Voga passing by the Princess House and the famous sculptures of a local artisan ¿Gilmar Pinna¿, the Pereque Beach and finally we will arrive at the end of the cycle path, where the ¿Ponte Estaiada¿ is located, next to the Ferry Boat that connects Ilhabela to the mainland. On the way back, we will make a quick stop at Engenho D Água Beach, where you can catch your breath and enjoy the view of the beach before returning to the city center to board the ship.

We will take a panoramic tour of the most famous beaches and tourist attractions of Ilhabela. We will board vans or minibuses with air conditioning to visit the Historical Center ("Vila") and the city. We will stop for photos at "Mirante do Barreiro", with a wonderful view of the canal and our ship, then we ll head towards Ilhabela s Historic Church built in 1806 for an indoor visit. We ll pass by the Princess House, visit and stop for photos at Água Branca Waterfall. In the past, this waterfall used to move the old turbines of a small hydroelectric plant that generated energy for the island. Your guide will explain further how this system worked. Then we will go to the Mirante do Piúva and Ilha das Cabras, where we will make our last stop for photos, before returning to the ship.

This scenic half-day city and nature tour begins when you board an air-conditioned minivan or microbus at the pier and first head for a photo stop at Mirante do Barreiro to savour outstanding views of the canal and your ship. Next on the itinerary is a look at the historical Church of Ilhabela, followed by a second photo stop at the stunning Água Branca waterfalls. Moving on, you¿ll then head for an old sugarcane and banana farm to reach the famous Toca waterfalls, where you¿ll have about an hour to enjoy the water, the Atlantic Forest setting and ¿ if you¿re older than 18 ¿ a taste of cachaça, which has been distilled on the farm since 1937. The return transfer to your ship brings the outing to an end.

The programme
  • After disembarking at the Vial dock, we are given a bike, helmet, map and padlock.
  • We can now start our tour of the city with a local guide who will show us the main tourist attractions and provide interesting historical information. Which is said to have been built by slaves in 1532, and passing by Casa da Princesa (the Princess House).
  • We continue towards the Praia do Perequê beach, where Igreja de São João, the oldest church on the island, is located.
  • We stop at the Engenho D’Agua beach to catch our breath and enjoy the views on our way back into town, where we can do some shopping and buy a souvenir to take home with us as a memento of this truly enchanting place.

The programme


  • A fully air-conditioned minibus ride to discover this amazing island. 
  • We start with a tour of the historic town centre, passing by Igreja Nossa Senhora D'Ajuda, which is said to have been built by slaves in 1532, Casa da Princesa (the Princess House) and towards to Agua Branca Waterfall. 
  • Our tour continues with a 15 minute ride to the Ilha das Cabras island, located in the southern part of Ilhabela. 
  • We then visit the Veloso Beach, and then head to the North side of the island. The next stop is Praia do Sino beach, where we admire and “listen” to the famous rocks and, last but not least, a photo stop at the Barreiro viewpoint, located on the northern part of the island and offering great views of the canal with our ship in the background. 
  • At the end of the tour, we have some time to visit the town centre and do some shopping and take home some lovely souvenirs.

The programme
  • We leave the port on a minivan which takes us to the city centre via a panoramic route. We enjoy a short tour of the city and see Casa da Princesa (the Princess House) as well as the Ilhabela historic church.
  • Our visit continues with the Toca waterfalls, located inside an old sugar and banana farm active since 1937, when the sugar cane plantation for the production of Cachaca first started up. Before heading back to the ship, we enjoy some free time swimming, relaxing and sunbathing while taking in one of the most beautiful parts of the island.

On arrival, we'll set off at two very different speeds: one group will climb aboard the schooner, while the other hops into a 4x4, headed for Jabaquara beach. The boat will glide between yacht clubs, beaches and the Ponta das Canas lighthouse, offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities. Meanwhile, the 4x4 vehicles will speed between the Praia do Sino viewpoint and the rainforest, past rocks that ring like bells. And at the end? It's time to change places: sea or land, everyone can enjoy the full experience!

The programme
  • On the dock, we are be divided into two groups - one embarks on the schooner and the other gets onto a 4x4 towards Jabaquara beach.
  • While sailing towards the beach, the barquetine circumnavigates our ship to take a few photos and then passes by the Ilhabela Yacht Club as well as the Barreiros, Viana and Praia do Sino beaches, whose rocks seem to reproduce the sound of church bells. The boat then approaches the Ponta das Canas lighthouse before disembarking onto Jabaquara beach, surrounded by an imposing rain forest.
  • In the meantime, the Jeep drives through the Barreiro belvedere, where a selfie with our ship in the background is a must. The next stop is Praia do Sino, where we admire and “listen” to the famous rocks. After the Ponta das Canas lighthouse, the Jeeps reach Jabaquara beach along a dirt track.
  • On our way back, those who arrived by Jeep embark the barquetine , so that everyone can experience the same adventure!

The programme
  • We start our excursion with a few hours on the Praia do Curral beach, which we reach by minivan.
  • We pass in front of Casa da Princesa (the Princess House) and visit the town church, dating back to the 16th century. The grand finale of our tour before heading weather permitting, we can enjoy amazing views. It is also a great opportunity to photograph our ship in the background.
