NORTH SHORE TOUR

NORTH SHORE TOUR

Your adventure begins on a wondrous and beautiful journey to the famous North Shore. Your first stop is at the Byodo-In Temple, situated on the sweeping vista of the Koolau Mountain Range. From here, you will be able to see beautiful peacocks and hundreds of Japanese Koi Carp. You will then make your way to the Macadamia Nut Farm where you will be able to taste some of Hawaii¿s well known Kona Coffee and see the macadamia nut plant. A scrumptious Hawaiian lunch will be served at a local venue. Continue your journey along the North Shore to the quaint surf town of Haleiwa. Your last stop will be at the Dole Plantation, a historical pineapple plantation which includes the world¿s largest maze, before an approximately 45 minute drive back to the ship.

Please note: It is recommended that guests wear comfortable shoes. Casual resort attire is required. Wildlife sighting is not guaranteed. Admission to the maze at Dole Plantation is not included in the tour. Guests with any type of food intolerance are required to communicate it to the Shore Excursions Office at least two days before the call.<-p>

GRAND CIRCLE TOUR

During this Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour, you will depart on an all-day excursion around the beautiful island of Oahu where you will see and experience some of the many natural and cultural landmarks the island has to offer. Your first stop takes you past Hanuama Bay in the South Shore, with its far reaching views of the Pacific Ocean. Continue on towards the windward coastline surrounded by the towering Koolau Mountain Range. Stop for a delicious Hawaiian lunch at a local venue. Afterwards, you¿ll pass Kualoa Ranch, a famous filming spot for the Jurassic Park movies, before continuing with a drive along the famous North Shore - where waves pound pristine white sandy beaches. Enjoy free time to explore the quaint town of Haleiwa with its charming boutiques, art galleries and surf shops. Perhaps even enjoy a local favorite, shave ice. Take it all in on this one-of-a-kind tour. Your last stop will consist of a visit to the popular Dole Plantation, a historical pineapple plantation which includes the world¿s largest maze, before an approximately 45 minute drive back to the ship. WAIKIKI ON YOUR OWN

WAIKIKI ON YOUR OWN

Take in the sights of Waikiki on this self-guided exploration of Honolulu s famous beach area. Travel by motorcoach to Waikiki where you will be dropped off in a central location. From there, enjoy approximately 3½ hours to explore on your own. This bustling tourist area is lined with high-rises, luxury resorts and restaurants, as well as the iconic Waikiki Beach that stretches for nearly 2 miles along Oahu s southern coast. It is famous for its typically sunny skies, surf break, and stunning views of Diamond Head, an extinct volcano named by sailors in the 1800s who mistook the glitter of calcite crystals in the lava rock for diamonds. After your visit to this iconic beach area, you will meet the motorcoach at your designated return point for your drive back to your awaiting ship.

Your adventure begins with a journey to the quaint surf town of Haleiwa on the famous North Shore. Here, you will enjoy free time to explore the many shops, boutiques, and cafes in this iconic North Shore town. Perhaps you may even try a Hawaiian shave ice at Matsumoto s, which has been delighting visitors for over 70 years. Next, drive a short distance to the Green World Coffee Farm, where you ll have a chance to sample their locally grown coffee. Take time to stroll through the lush coffee garden or browse their gift shop. Your last stop will be at the Dole Plantation, a historical pineapple plantation, where you ll have the opportunity to wander their extensive grounds, before an approximately 45-minute drive back to the ship.

Enjoy a guided tour of some of Oahu s best sights, including the bustling Waikiki Beach resort area, Diamond Head, Waimanalo Bay, and the Pali Lookout, which features stunning island views. Your tour begins as you travel through the heart of the resort district at Waikiki Beach, a bustling area lined with high-rises, luxury resorts, and restaurants. It is famous for its warm and cloud-free climate, its surf break, and stunning views of Diamond Head. Journey past the 75-acre Waimanalo Bay Recreation Area and Waimanalo Beach as you continue along Oahu s windward coast on your way to the Pali Lookout in the rugged Ko olau Mountains. This stunning lookout with fierce winds and awe-inspiring vistas of the island is rumored to be the site of a battle in 1795 in which King Kamehameha I forced thousands of his opponents to jump to their deaths from the cliffs there.
