Cruise along the Dominican coastline, enjoying panoramic views and the Caribbean Sea. Your catamaran will anchor at a tranquil bay, perfect for snorkeling or a refreshing swim. Discover two of La Romana¿s cultural gems on this half-day tour. Begin your adventure at the Cueva de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders), an underground cavern featuring dramatic stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient Taino Indian petroglyphs and pictographs, beautifully lit to enhance their mystical charm. Walk along secure, well-lit paths as your guide shares fascinating stories of pre-Columbian history and geology. Next, travel to the architectural marvel of Altos de Chavón, a meticulously recreated 16th-century Mediterranean-style village perched above the Chavón River. Enjoy a guided tour through its cobblestone streets, explore the Archaeological Regional Museum, visit the Church of St. Stanislaus, and take in the grandeur of the Roman-style amphitheater, which has hosted legendary performances. First, you will travel through the largest sugar cane plantation in the Dominican Republic ¿ over 200,000 acres! Experience rural life as you pass through a traditional Batey village, where you¿ll taste freshly cut sugar cane and learn about life in these agricultural communities. See colourful Dominican houses, small local shops called Colmados, and soak in scenes of everyday rural life. Next, you will visit the Vega Fina Cigar Factory, where you¿ll enjoy a guided tour of the handmade cigar process ¿ from tobacco cultivation to the final product. You¿ll have the chance to purchase famous brands such as Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Don Diego, and Vega Fina. Continue to a local ranch to see plantations of common Dominican crops and sample typical sweets, tropical fruits, local coffee, and the island¿s beloved mamajuana. End your experience with one hour of beach time at the fishing village of Bayahibe, enjoying the warm Caribbean waters. Guests must be at least 4 years old to participate on this tour.

Known for its mangroves, coral reefs, and turquoise waters, Saona offers an idyllic escape into natural Caribbean beauty. Your adventure begins with a drive to the quaint fishing village of Bayahibe, where you ll board a boat to Saona. Upon arrival, relax on the white sandy beach, swim in waters, or unwind in a beach chair under the sun. Enjoy a barbecue buffet lunch, fresh fruit, and an open bar with local beer and rum. One of the highlights is a stop at the famous Natural Pool, a shallow sandbank in the middle of the sea with waist-high, waters¿perfect for a swim in paradise.
