The bus stops at Piazza Vittorio Veneto- this is the point to reach at the end of your tour. The cost of the lunch (optional) is not included in the price of the tour. Although the excursion includes only transfers to and from Florence along with ample free time in the city for participants, it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or those using a wheelchair. The walk down from Piazzale Michelangelo to the city centre involves several flights of stairs which, despite having 25 wide steps, would make the tour particularly challenging for wheelchair users.<-p>
UNGUIDED TRANSFER TO FLORENCE & PISA
Excursion details<-strong><-p> Begin with a 90-minute coach drive through the scenic Tuscan countryside, arriving at Florence¿s renowned Piazzale Michelangelo. This elevated terrace offers panoramic views of Florence, famously captured in numerous paintings and photographs and named after the great Renaissance artist Michelangelo. From here, walk approximately 20 minutes descending a staircase with 25 wide steps, to reach Santa Croce Square.<-p> Here, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of central Florence, where you will enjoy around two hours and 15 minutes of free time to explore at your own pace. You might choose to visit the Basilica di Santa Croce, indulge in Tuscan cuisine at a local trattoria, or browse the district¿s artisan shops.<-p> After your independent exploration, continue to Piazzale Vittorio Veneto with your assistant to rejoin your coach for a 60-minute transfer to Pisa. The birthplace of Galileo Galilei, Pisa is a city rich in history. Leave the coach and walk for 15 minutes to Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous Leaning Tower, as well as the 13th-century Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the grand Baptistery. You will have 45 minutes of free time to admire the architecture, to buy a souvenir or capture memorable photographs.<-p> Conclude your excursion with a 15-minute walk back to the coach, followed by a 45-minute drive to Livorno and your awaiting ship.<-p> Important Information:<-strong>This excursion is available only for guests who do not embark or disembark in Livorno.
