The programme
- We travel a fewkilometers by bus to the north of San Francisco, where we visit the Muir WoodsNational Monument a protected forest famous for its evergreen redwoods.
- After receiving a map of the various paths of the park, we begin ourindependent exploration of Muir Woods
- After the visit we go to Sausalito, also known as the Venice of the Pacific, where we have a bit of time toexplore and visit the many art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops beforereturning.

SAN FRANCISCO AND GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

The programme
- We begin ourtour with a ride along the Embarcadero, the eastern waterfront of the SanFrancisco harbor, directed towards the center of the city. We will continue toMarket Street and make a stop on the hill of Twin Peaks.
- Reach the Golden Gate Park, the largest park in San Francisco, createdartificially with an ingenious design of sand dunes, following this we willthen move to DeYoung Museum and Gardens.
- The bus will then make a brief stop near the Cliff House restaurant, onthe Pacific coast
- Drivepast the renowned fine arts museum Palace of Legion of Honor and along the coastroad that leads to the symbol of thecity: the Golden Gate Bridge.
- From here we willpass Cannery Row, Ghirardelli Square and finally the animated area ofFisherman's Wharf before returning to the port.

SAUSALITO AND FISHERMANS WHARF
Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a drive along the Embarcadero. You will pass the Cannery and Ghirardelli Square, made famous by chocolate factory. You will continue through the Marina district and on to the Presidio; a beautiful historic landmark, featuring views of the Golden Gate Bridge. After a brief stop at Vista Point to admire the Golden Gate, then it’s off to Sausalito, also known as the Venice of the Pacific. Here you will have time to explore and browse through many of Sausalito’s art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops before returning to San Francisco and Fisherman’s Wharf. You will have an opportunity to explore Pier 39 with its many shops and restaurants. You may return to the Cruise Ship Terminal with the motorcoach, just a short jaunt away or stay and continue exploring on your own.
