Get ready for an extraordinary tour of the most charming island in South Korea! Start at the Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, the “Pond of God” (a name this epic is worth a trip in itself). Here, the water doesn't fall - it dances down a three-level waterfall which flows into the sea, surrounded by a jungle of rare plants and mysterious caves.
In Cheonjeyeon Valley, you'll cross the evocative Seonimgyo bridge, decorated with seven nymphs, and discover the legend engraved inside the Cheonjeru Tower.
It's time to be amazed once again, as you admire the magnificent Yakcheonsa Temple: it's 30 meters high. The statue of Vairocana, which is 5 meters high, will greet you at the entrance, while an 18-ton Buddhist bell and the sculpted walls all around you will make you feel so small. - Visit to the protected traditional village of Seongeup.
- Maeil Olle market in Seogwipo.
The programme
Welcome to Jeju: discover the best that this island has to offer with a local guide! Kick things off in grand style with a UNESCO wonder: Seongsan Ilchulbong and the famous Sunrise Peak. Once upon a time, it was a volcanic island standing out all on its own, but over time, the sand and shingle built up, 'attaching' it to the mainland. Today, you'll venture along the panoramic footpath that climbs up to the edge of the crater. The views? Incredible, particularly at dawn, when the sun rises over the horizon and leaves everyone open mouthed (and with a red-hot camera).
Then, travel back in time as you wander through the traditional village of Seongeup, where you will discover how the island's inhabitants used to live. Old houses, folk songs, traditional games, typical dishes and even the local dialect. A place where the soul of the island is preserved, between history and folklore, without any of the boredom of a museum.
If you love bustling urban life, the final stop is right up your street: explore Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, the biggest market in the area, with 600 meters of colors, scents and local flavors. Perfect for a spot of shopping, for tasting the delicacies of the island, or simply for browsing amongst the stalls in search of an authentic souvenir or two.
You'll bring the island's nature, culture and local life back home with you (all totally stress-free!). Ready to set off?

SARYEONI FOREST AND CULTURAL STONE PARK: JEJU'S UNMISSABLE SIGHTS
Whether you're a lover of legends, a fan of unspoiled nature, or simply looking for something different, this combo will make your day extra special: before immersing yourself in a world of lava and myth at the cultural Stone Park, then get lost in the calm of the Saryeoni forest trail, one of Jeju's hidden treasures.
Main stops
- Jeju Stone Park with Seolmundae Halmang and the stones of Obaek Janggun (the Five Hundred Generals)
- Saryeoni forest trail
The programme
Forget everything you think you know about open-air museums. Here, among the lava flows, mysterious sculptures and ancient legends, every step you take is a page in an epic story. The Jeju Stone Park is the beating heart of the island's identity, a place where the stone comes to life and tells stories of gods, generals and ancestors with super powers. Speaking of which, do you know Seolmundae Halmang? A giant grandmother-goddess who created the entire island and then ended up in a soup. (Yes, according to the legend, it really happened!)
If you feel eyes on you, it'll be the Obaek Janggun, or Five Hundred Generals, the stone guardians who protect the island with their stern and silent gaze. Walking among them catapults you into a mystical journey through mythology, art and volcanic vibrations.
Now it's time for a change of pace: step inside the green fairytale land of the Saryeoni Forest Trail. A path that leads past lofty Japanese cedars, oak and birch trees, fragrant cypresses, and a silence that reconnects you with everything that matters. Perfect for really switching off. And as a bonus? It's one of the 31 “hidden treasures” of Jeju.
You'll move slowly amidst the plays of light filtering through the leaves, the carpets of moss, and that crisp air that smells of freedom. It's only 550 meters long, but it feels like a real spiritual journey.
A sensory, spiritual and slightly crazy journey. Just like Jeju.
